Maplestory How to Do Things for Beginners

This will teach you how to do almost everything for beginners.

How To Use Skill Points

After you level up, just press the letter K (if your skill window is on that key) and you will end up with 3 skill points. Use Skill Points to gain new skills and get skills that raise attack,accuracy,etc. You will also need to know which skills that you may have to learn and some that you will not use.(You can look up a skill point guide on internet).

How To Use Ability Points

When you level up, you will gain something that is called Ability Points. You will gain 5 Ability Points each level. Simply press the key S and click Auto Assign if you dont know what stat to put it in.(Do not click Auto Assign if you are going to be Dexless/Strless/Lukless). If you will choice Thief, you will put almost all your Ability Points into Luk. If your a Magician, you will put almost all of it into Int. If you are a Bowman, you will need to put it into Dex. If you are a Pirate, you will have to put it into Str or Dex. If you will choose the path of guns as a Pirate, you will need Dex, if you want to use knucklers, you will need Str.

How To Become a Class

First, you will need to be off Maple Island and in Lith Harbor. They have started a event that once level 10, you can use a statue and it will teleport you to the Class place you have chosen. Click on the Job Instructor, and he will make you your class. If you just started Maplestory and picked a class, carefully read the Job Instructors chat first to see if you need to know anything before becoming a class.

How To Use Skills

First, you will need at least 1 Ability Point in the skill you want. Look on the bottom right of your maple screen and you'll probably see a button with keys on it. Simply drag the skill from the skill window and into a key. Press the key to use the skills. You will not be able to drag a skill into a button if the skill isn't a attacking skill.

How To Buy Armor

In the place you advanced into a class, there will be a armor store there. Go into the armor store by pressing the up arrow and double click on a NPC. You will see a list of armor or weapons. You will need Mesos to buy the armor/weapon. Nexon Cash that you can buy in stores is not the same as Mesos.

How To Use Nexon Cash

If you look on the bottom right of Maplestory Screen, you will see a red button saying Cash. Click on it and it will take you to the Cash Shop. You have to redeem your card or another thing with nexon cash and nexon.net. Nexon Cash will allow you to change your hair style, face,skin, and lots of other things. Almost no Nexon Cash items have defense/weapon attack. Its basically meant to make you look cooler by masking over your equipment with cooler items.

How To Get Job Advancements

You will get job advancements(class advancements) at lv30,70, and 120. You just have to go to your Job Instructor (the person who gave you your class)  at one of those levels. It is different with Dual Blade and Evan. Search it on Google for details..
